EMSOC is a Democratic partnership established in 1976, as the first and only Emergency Medicine group at St. Joseph Hospital and CHOC Children’s Hospital of Orange County. The group consists of approximately 50 physicians board certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Toxicology and Ultrasound.

In addition, the group also includes 20 allied health providers and provides fully staffed scribe coverage for all provider shifts. Partnership track and sign-on bonus available for full-time physicians. We offer very competitive pay and collegial practice environment in beautiful Southern California. Full and part time positions available.

St. Joseph Hospital Emergency Care Center is a modern community Emergency Department with approximately 85,000 visits per year. The Emergency Department is a comprehensive STEMI and Stroke receiving center with excellent call panel coverage. There is also a dedicated ED psychiatry team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurse practitioners and social workers.

Opened in 2013, CHOC Children’s Emergency Department is a state-of-the-art Level II Trauma center, tertiary referral center and teaching hospital serving 90,000 children annually. Positions are available for Pediatric and Pediatric Emergency Medicine board eligible and board certified physicians. In addition, attending physicians provider supervision of residents and fellows in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
